An experiment  done by Noll juxtaposing a Mondrian's 'Composition with Lines' (1917) with a similar piece generated by a computer using an algorythm and viewers were asked to compare then. Left is an article he wrote on the experiment. The results were very interesting in that very few correctly identified the Mondrian version. Question public perception of digital art? Human proclivity for organic/analog aesthetic?
